I met Cliff at Convergence Four, although I was not aware of it at the time. Despite this inauspicious beginning, we've gotten along well, largely because twisted, devious, and megalomaniacal minds think alike.

Well, he is the force of nature behind NYCGoth.com, the various necronomi.com e-lists (including NYCGoth-L, which in a rare example of poor judgment he allows me to co-moderate), C7 NYC, and the late lamented Byzantium. He also knows a lot of weird stuff about a lot of weird stuff, and stuff. And despite the weight of so many worlds on his shoulders, he has an excellent sense of humor.
